Scott Landry served as project lead for this 2 bedroom home while at Michelle Kaufmann Designs. The Ukiah house is based on a Kaufmann design with modifications to create a large central living/dining/kitchen area and to frame spectacular views on both sides of the house. This residence is sited on a hillside 40 acre plot with a vineyard below. Some of its 'green' features include natural daylighting and cross-ventilation, sliding exterior wood sunscreens, bamboo flooring, FSC-certified cabinetry, sustainable countertops, composite wood decking, and solar photovoltaic power.
